The Ontario Coalition Against Poverty on June 15, 2000, called for a protest called "Fight to Win" against policies of the Ontario Government headed by Premier Mike Harris. About 1000 protesters arrived at Queen's Park after which a dlegation asked to be admitted to the parliament in order to speak to repreentatives. Denied and then a short time later a molotov cocktail was thrown, by whom I do not know, and a full fledged riot ensued with many arrests and injuries.
